In 2010, Chadron State College approached Spellbrand to rebrand their athletics team. They had a Chadron Eagles logo that they weren’t satisfied with and wanted a mark that would stand out.

Chadron State College is located in western Nebraska and has used the Eagle as its mascot since the college’s founding in 1911. As a member of the RMAC conference in Division 2 NCAA, they compete against formidable opponents including New Mexico Highlands, Adams State (Colorado), Colorado Mines, Mesa State (Colorado), Fort Lewis (Colorado), Nebraska-Kearney, and Western State (Colorado).

The college had an official logo but was looking to rebrand with a more athletic mascot logo—one that would resonate with current students, alumni, faculty, staff, prospective students, sports enthusiasts, and professional teams for recruiting purposes.
